10.30am Sunday morning service
(On 1st Sunday of every month, we celebrate Communion.)
You’ll find our services relaxed and friendly with a mixture of modern worship songs and traditional hymns, plus a sermon and a time of prayer. The service ends at about 11.30am, after which coffee, tea and biscuits are served. This is a really good time for getting to know people.
We do our best to make visitors feel as comfortable as possible. That’s because we know it can be daunting to visit a church for the first time. At our church, there is always someone at the door to greet you, and you can choose where you want to sit. The words of our worship songs are projected on a screen, but if you find this difficult, a hymn book is available at the door.
If you come with children, please ask one of our ‘greeters’ at the door about our Sunday school activities or, for example, where you can change your baby’s nappy.
9.30am pre-service prayer meeting
In the Vestry prior to each Sunday morning service. Come and lift up the service in prayer.
6pm on 4th Sunday of every month: Praise & prayer meeting.
This service has a more informal, relaxed approach, with worship and prayer and a desire to be led by the Holy Spirit. A different theme runs through each evening: two recent examples are ‘praying for the hungry and homeless’ and for ‘Christians suffering persecution, worldwide’. There is also an opportunity for sharing what God is doing in our lives.
Additional services are held throughout the year, so keep an eye on the What’s On page for the latest information.
