- Winter 2025
- Prayers
-
We pray again that a ceasefire will be negotiated at last between Russia and Ukraine. So much destruction and suffering because of power grabbing by Putin.
-
We pray that the ceasefire in Gaza will hold and that a plan can be developed to rebuild the area. The West Bank is also becoming an area of conflict between the Jews and Palestinians.
-
We pray again for Sudan- so many displaced people struggling to stay alive. Aid Agencies are trying to help where they can.
-
We pray for our NHS as winter is a busy time. We hope the Resident Doctors’ pay dispute will soon be resolved as strike action disrupts services.
-
We pray for Venezuela as Trump has sent the navy into the area to try and stop drug smuggling into the USA. However, lives are being lost without arrests.
-
We pray for all those displaced because of cyclones and floods. Homes and infrastructure destroyed and many lives lost in the Caribbean and Asia.
-
We give thanks for our food, homes and security in these challenging times.
