- Easter
At this time of year we remember Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey Palm Sunday, 13th April – fulfilling a prophecy. Jesus then shared His last Passover meal with His disciples with the symbols of bread and wine as His body and blood which we now celebrate as Communion. He was then arrested and Crucified on Good Friday, 18th April. He died on the cross and then was put in a tomb. 3 days later he was alive again with the scars on His body. The Resurrection is celebrated by Christians on Easter Sunday, April 20th. Jesus gave his life as a sacrifice so that all who believe in Him may have life after death in Heaven.
